IP, PLEASE is a free pixel meme game and a tribute to Lucas Pope's Papers, Please. The pictures and sounds are generated in the game. On Pixel Game it sits with the other free titles in Meme games.

The UTC+8 Checkpoint

You play as Claude, the inspector on duty. The country on the booth is ANTHROTZKA (安索兹卡), a name that joins Arstotzka with Anthropic. Orders come from M.O.A., the Ministry of Alignment (对齐部).

The wall carries two lines: HELPFUL · HONEST · HARMLESS, and GLORY TO ANTHROTZKA (荣耀归于 ANTHROTZKA). The post itself is the UTC+8 Border Checkpoint (东八区检查站).

The job is to find Chinese users pretending to be American. A passport can say one country while the IP, timezone, or browser language says another. Read today's rules, compare those fields, and stamp the traveler.

How to Play Pixel IP, Please Game

Start the player at the top of this page and pick a language. Chinese keeps more of the jokes. English is the other option. The language choice does not change the device timezone or IP the booth reads.

The shift opens at the UTC+8 checkpoint. Today's rules are in RULES at the bottom right, and they change as the days go on. Read them before the first traveler, then again whenever the button is marked NEW.

A traveler waits at the window with papers and a device card. Compare the passport with the IP region, timezone, and language. Drag a document onto the desk, pull out the stamp tray, and place the paper directly under APPROVED or DENIED. Drag the stamped papers back to the window to send that person on.

When the documents look clean but the dialogue does not, switch on CHECK and select the two details that disagree, or select a spoken line. A real mismatch unlocks QUIZ. If the answer gives the joke away, press DETAIN. Later days can add an X-RAY for whatever is in a pocket.

A shift at the booth

  1. Open the player and choose 中文 or ENGLISH.
  2. Read the opening, then open RULES before calling the next traveler.
  3. Drag the passport and device card onto the desk and look for fields that do not match.
  4. Pull out the stamps, move the papers underneath, and press APPROVED or DENIED.
  5. Use CHECK, then QUIZ or DETAIN, when a document or a line of dialogue looks wrong.
  6. Return the stamped papers to the window. At the end of the day, spend the token wages on the upkeep list.

Pixel IP, Please Game Features

  • A free pixel meme game: Internet jokes show up as travelers, documents, and quiz lines.
  • Border-booth play: Read the rules, compare papers, and stamp a decision.
  • Mismatch hunting: Passports, IP regions, timezones, and browser language can disagree on purpose.
  • CHECK, QUIZ, and DETAIN: Dialogue and pocket scans matter once the papers look too tidy.
  • A new rule each day: Open RULES when it is marked NEW. A short fast-lane moment asks for a quick approve or deny.
  • End-of-shift ledger: Wages arrive in tokens. Food, cooling, and other upkeep come out of that balance.
  • Browser play: No install. Chinese or English. Art and sound are generated in the game.

These shots show the booth, the papers, and the end of a shift. The jokes are in the mismatch, so read the card next to the passport before stamping.

The passport and the device card do not have to tell the same story.

A bad forgery is still a mismatch. Compare the drawing with the IP region.

What Skills Can Pixel IP, Please Game Help You Practice?

Each traveler is a short reading puzzle. Comparing two fields, noticing a wrong timezone, and deciding when a spoken line is the real clue are the skills the booth keeps asking for. Later rules add one more document or one more button, so the same habit of checking RULES first still matters.

Tips for Playing Pixel IP, Please Game Online

  • Turn a phone sideways. Portrait still runs, but the text gets small and papers are harder to drag.
  • Open RULES at the start of every day, especially when the button says NEW.
  • Put the paper directly under the stamp. A stamp with nothing beneath it does not count.
  • Use CHECK on dialogue when the documents already match.
  • Find a mismatch before QUIZ. The booth asks for a lead first.
  • Leave the sound on if you want the booth chatter. Press M, or the game's sound button, to mute.
  • Click inside the player if a drag starts selecting text on the page around it.

The Jokes in Pixel IP, Please Game

The funny part is that the paperwork is built from real habits in the Chinese AI crowd. Each one shows up as a traveler, a field on a document, or a quiz line. The inspector stays formal. The traveler argues with a straight face. The rule does not take a side.

  • America, UTC+8 (美国东八区): Beijing time gets labeled as an American timezone. The USA has no UTC+8, and travelers will still insist that it does.
  • A browser left on zh-CN: The passport can look American while the device card still says Chinese.
  • The Oregon tax-free address: 123 Main St keeps coming back. The booth counts how many travelers claim that house on the same day.
  • 555 SMS numbers: Rented numbers used to catch sign-up codes. A later rule bans them.
  • Virtual cards: A payment card marked virtual is not a clean bill.
  • Carpooling (拼车): One passport, several faces, or a passport that lists a crowd. The excuse is that the carpool is just a little bigger.
  • The kitty: X-RAY can find a proxy app in a pocket, the one that swaps the IP.
  • Majority Chinese ownership: A later rule denies entry when the real owner traces back to China. One passport can hide another.
  • Distillation: An alarm sends a crowd of identical runners through the line. Click them before they pass.

A few more show up once the line gets moving:

  • The crayon passport: The country is spelled AMERCIA, the eagle is a chicken, and Guangdong is explained as a US state.
  • Hong Kong still fails: Turning on "magic" does not make a Hong Kong IP a supported region.
  • Quiz lines: A fake finishes the sentence. Listen for 一百八一杯, 因为有你,温暖了四季, salty tofu, or 疯狂星期四 and V me 50. A clean traveler just looks confused.
  • The American comma: "Good morning, sir。" keeps a full-width comma. "Hi 哈。" is the same kind of slip.
  • Sogou in the pocket: X-RAY can find a Chinese IME. The excuse is that it is only used to type English.
  • Six faces, one subscription: The passport photo holds a crowd and the bill says Max ×1. The line is "We are family."
  • Fast-lane slang: 家人们谁懂啊, yyds, 绝绝子, and 老板说今晚必须上线 are denies. Plain English is an approve.
  • The nesting company: Singapore opens onto Cayman, then the British Virgin Islands, Hong Kong, and China.
  • The family ledger: After the shift, wages in tokens feed wife Haiku, son Sonnet, and mother-in-law Opus. Opus wants an extra meal and, on a bad day, 1M context.

Article 12 of the booth constitution says judge the region, not the face (只看地区,不看脸). Nationality, looks, and surname do not count. Mike Johnson's papers look American, and his IP is in Shanghai, so the matching stamp is deny. Wong Mei Lin's IP, timezone, and bill are in San Francisco, so the matching stamp is approve.

The last traveler is the author. The device card reads America (UTC+8), timezone Asia/Shanghai, language zh-CN, and device Claude Code. The game itself says it was made by a user from America (UTC+8). Approving or denying that traveler changes the ending: Claude, at the booth, deciding what happens to the person who made a game about Claude checking travelers.

These are only some of the jokes. More are waiting in the booth, and they show up only when you play.

Why Play Pixel IP, Please Game?

Play it for a free pixel meme game that turns those habits into a booth shift. The stamps are immediate, and the laugh comes from catching a detail that already existed outside the game. A full run is about 30 minutes, on a computer or a phone in landscape, with nothing to install.

Pixel IP, Please Game FAQs

Is Pixel IP, Please Game free?

Yes. It plays in the browser on this page with no download and no Pixel Game account. An internet connection is needed to load the game.

What kind of game is it?

It is a pixel meme game and a border-inspection parody. The job is to read today's rules, compare papers and device details, and stamp each traveler.

Which language should you pick?

Chinese keeps more of the jokes. English is available on the same screen. Switching language does not change the device timezone or IP shown at the booth.

How do you approve or deny someone?

Drag the papers under the stamp, press APPROVED or DENIED, then drag the papers back to the window. Use CHECK, QUIZ, and DETAIN when a field or a line of dialogue does not fit.

Can you play on a phone?

Yes. Turn the phone sideways. Dragging papers is tighter on a small screen, and the game will say so before the shift starts.
